Specially-designed sintered glass with an enormous surface area of 450 m2 per litre. Ideal for the colonisation of nitrifying bacteria colonies. When changing the filter material, mix about 1/3 of the used medium with new to achieve rapid repopulation of bacteria. We recommend that this media once in use should be lightly rinsed in used tank water only. EHFISUBSTRAT must be washed thoroughly before use.
